Capturing an ID document
Flat, sharp, no glare, and include the back when it has the machine-readable lines.
Place the document on a dark, flat surface and fill most of the frame with it. Tilt it slightly away from the light if you see glare.
Capture the side with the photo first. If the back of the card has the machine-readable lines (the rows of <<< characters), capture it too: VerifyID reads those lines, validates their check digits and rejects expired documents.
