How long we keep data

Images are encrypted and deleted on your schedule.

Captured images are stored encrypted and deleted according to Settings, then Data & Privacy. With "Never store images" they are removed as soon as the decision is final, and a case waiting for review keeps them only until it is decided.

Verification records are deleted after the log retention period you choose, and you can have failed or suspicious sessions removed automatically.

Each record also keeps a face signature: a list of numbers computed from the face, not an image, from which the photo cannot be rebuilt. It is used only to notice the same face returning under a different name within your own account, and it is deleted together with the record.
